Pat Attending SWAP Event

I did it! I am registered to attend COSE’s SWAP Networking event Wednesday. This is an event I wanted to go to, but did not due to my inability to make a quick decision. Space is limited at this event.

Yet I almost missed out. I registered online early, but somehow did not receive my online confirmation and make the final list. I followed up with the event coordinator and I’m in.

I wonder if its similar to the LinkedIn SNAP events I attend earlier this year. The group was small, about 40. Usually small business owners, lots of financial services people, and job hunters (me and other contacts who carpooled).

Hope to post a review next week.

This week’s updated list includes events from new networking groups in the area.

We look forward to comments/reviews.

Industry events

10/8 American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) Cleveland Chapter “Steal This Idea,” 3 p.m.-5 p.m., Fifth-Third Center, Cleveland, cost not listed, www.asbpe.org, Chapters button, click on Cleveland. Hi … Thanks for putting this together!

On the B2B show … I had about the same feeling about it as you do. I went to the Aurora-Solon-Twinsburg one and found it didn’t turn up any leads. Might need to get a booth to make it worthwhile, but not sure if it would be effective for what we do.
