COSE’s Upcoming Networking Night

Last week, I attended Sprout Connections first speed networking event. Sprout Connections is a networking group that formed last fall with the tagline: ” Where Cleveland professionals meet and mingle for business, social, dating, and philanthropy.” It gives some of the event’s proceeds to a Cleveland-area nonprofit.

For someone like me (old pro), it was typical speed networking: small group, up to 30, small business owners and a few financial services types. Give an elevator speech and pass out business cards.

Met a contact from past speed networking and someone who recently subscribed to this list. I put a face with a web address.

Sprout Connections officers announced that it’s planning a larger networking event for Feb. 24 at the Fox and Hound in Parma. Stay tuned for more info. I hope it’s not too large.

If you attend any of the listed events, do comment. Also comment  if this list has helped you make a meaningful connection.
