Here’s a comment from one of my contacts about the WIN networking event he attended:
“I went to the WIN Open Networking event at the Hilton Garden Inn – Mayfield Village. Its organizer, Melissa Celko-Kozmon, had responded to my inquiries and told me the event was open to men and women.
When I arrived, I discovered I was the only man there (amongst about 40 or so women)! Melissa ushered me in, exclaiming, “We have a man!,” sitting me down at the speed-networking table, which had started. I received a lot of good-natured teasing, but it turned out to be a pretty fun event.”

I had the good fortune to attend the NEO Society For Technical Communication (NEOSTC) meeting at Bar Louie, Legacy Village, at a guest rate of “FREE.” It definitely pays to network and be friends with everyone plus Post, Post then Post again on all your social media platforms. I posted on linkedin that I met with an individual at Radcom . I did not know this individual and he was kind enough to invite me for an informational meeting. The Linkedin contact asked if I was interested in Technical Writing, why not I responded because I do enjoy writing.

A Wonderful event which featured a talented Design firm – Enspace Design. They spoke about the importance of Type, the readability and your customer.

Get out there an network because, You never know who you might meet who can help you.
