I am attending an event tonight, a Group – Project Management on Social Media and Your Brand. This is FREE at Progressive Insurance. Nice group and I have met some new people as well. The whole idea behind networking is finding new places where you can recite your 30 second commercial and meeting more people. I will be interested to learn more about the social media craze.

I attended the PMI talk on social media and your brand. I really enjoyed the presentation by Sonya Weiland. She gave some wonderful tips on increasing your effective utilizing LinkedIn and she shared her perspectives on transitioning from her hiring and coaching perspective. I also made some excellent networking contacts. Overall, a great event!
