Networking Crunch Time

Where did I go last week?

Tuesday, I  followed up with the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce networking group at its monthly evening event. It’s held at Mavis Winkle’s Twinsburg location. Attendance was light, less than 10.

On Friday, I went to the Chipolte Networking Group. This quarterly event is usually held at the Hudson, Ohio location and my first visit. I won a free lunch! It was well attended, 40+ people. A mix of job-seekers, financial/insurance reps (I knew and still came) and everyone else. Technical/IT appeared to be represented well. After one hour, it was hard to hear because everyone talked.

On July 24, there will be a big picnic in Parma for the technical community, T3CH!C. I have it on the list. If you want to be involved in IT, software and other offshoots, this could be a good networking opportunity.

Do comment if you attend any of the listed events, so the rest of us can learn if they are good networking opportunities.

Hi Pat – the 6/17 NEOSTC event doesn’t show on their page – the hike from early June is the latest item…

      Dear Sean:
I am aware of issues with the NEOSTC site. It is being redesigned. I got the info from the group’s last newsletter online. It also lists the July and August lunches.
Thanks for asking and I hope to see Thursday at the lunch
