Grand Slam Networking Set

Checkout the Sales and Marketing Executives of Cleveland website because it has posted information for its sixth annual Grand Slam Networking event. This big event will be August 11 at Progressive Field. The price is usually high for nonmembers, this time $70. But it gets you access to the Club Lounge and a club seat to the Indians vs. Baltimore Orioles game.

If you can afford to network at this event, go. www.smecleveland.com

Where did I go last week?

Tuesday – Cleveland Social Media Club Picnic

Checkout a report on this by Toni C., who is a long-time member of this group, compared to me. It was well-attended; even contacts I normally don’t see at this group’s events.

Thursday – Akron Bloggers Community

I mistakenly showed up at the meeting’s end. It usually starts at 9:30 a.m. Small group, about 10.

Friday- Healthcare Special Interest Group of Public Relations Society of America Cleveland Chapter.

This was a panel discussion of healthcare pros; representatives from a medical device manufacturer, crisis communications, hospital system and health insurance. I did some networking.

Are you aware of any events readers could be interested in? Please let us know.
