People You Should Meet This Month

The trio who I believe organize the Cleveland Bucket List, 3 Guys Present, is holding a networking event July 14. “People You Should Meet” will be on Whiskey Island in Cleveland. As part of the event, they feature a young entrepreneur and E City graduate who receives a donation from the net proceeds. Check below for the event’s stats.

The Cleveland Bucket List was featured in a Spring article in Crain’s Cleveland Business.

Where did I go last week? Wednesday I went to a Akron Social Media Club event for Social Media Day. Very small group, less than 10, at Bricco Akron. Got more LinkedIn and Twitter connections. This is a group that is starting in the Akron area and is cosponsoring an event with the Cleveland Social Media Club later this month at the Akron-Canton Airport (check below for details).

Thanks to Sean Williams for a mention in his blog, www.communicationammo.com/skills/it-conference-reveals-unexpected-connection-with-pr . Sean has his own communications practice and is involved with International Assoc. of Business Communicators (IABC) Cleveland Chapter. He is also a part-time instructor at Kent State University. I also follow him on Twitter:@CommAMMO.
